The crowd at Wednesday's non-league match between the Solon Spartans (Solon, IA) and the host South Tama County Trojans (Tama, IA), saw Solon's softball squad achieve victory over South Tama County by a count of 13-0.

The Spartans now sport a 8-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Regina for a non-league match on Thursday, June 6. Solon will face a Regals squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Assumption (Davenport, IA). The Regals record now stands at 5-3.

With the loss, South Tama County falls to 0-10 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Vinton-Shellsburg (Vinton, IA) to face the Vikings in a WaMaC-West match on Monday, June 10. The Vikings enter the match with a record of 5-13. Vinton-Shellsburg lost 8-3 in their recent non-league match against West Marshall (State Center, IA)
