The Atlantic Trojans (Atlantic, IA) baseball got by the host Shenandoah Mustangs (Shenandoah, IA), 8-7 in Thursday's league challenge.

The Trojans now own a 1-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lewis Central for a Hawkeye 10 challenge on Monday, June 9. Atlantic will clash with a Titans team coming off a 4-1 non-league loss to Sergeant Bluff-Luton (Sergeant Bluff, IA). The Titans record now stands at 9-4.

With the defeat, Shenandoah drops to 5-4 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Sidney (Sidney, IA) to clash with the Cowboys in a non-league challenge on Saturday, June 7. The Cowboys go into the challenge with a record of 1-5. Sidney lost 7-6 in their recent league challenge against Fremont-Mills (Tabor, IA)
