The Nodaway Valley Wolverines baseball team scored 20 runs and held the visiting Central Decatur Cardinals to 1 in the Wolverines non-league win on Thursday.

The Wolverines now own a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they host East Union for a non-league test on Friday, June 6.

With the defeat, Central Decatur drops to 2-6 on the year. The Cardinals travel to Moravia (Moravia, IA) to clash with the Mohawks in a non-league test on Monday, June 9. The Mohawks go into the test with a record of 5-3. Moravia won 12-3 in their recent league test against Moulton-Udell (Moulton, IA)
