The Highland Huskies baseball team scored 2 runs and held the visiting Lone Tree Lions to 0 in the Huskies league win on Thursday.
The Huskies now own a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Winfield-Mt. Union for a SE IA Super - North test on Friday, June 6.
With the defeat, Lone Tree drops to 2-5 on the year. The Lions host Washington (Washington, IA) to clash with the Demons in a non-league test on Friday, June 6. The Demons go into the test with a record of 1-2.
