The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Dakota Valley Panthers (North Sioux City, SD) and the visiting Madison Bulldogs (Madison, SD), observed Dakota Valley's softball team get by Madison by a tally of 8-1.

The Panthers (16-6) will now prepare for their bout against Tri-Valley (Colton, SD). The Mustangs go into the Class A bout with a 15-3 record. In their last bout, Tri-Valley tipped Elk Point-Jefferson (Elk Point, SD), 14-8, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Bulldogs clash with the Elk Point-Jefferson Huskies (Elk Point, SD) in a Class A bout, on Friday, June 6. Madison will attempt to advance on its 13-8 season record. The Huskies go into the bout with a 7-10 record after their 14-8 league loss to Tri-Valley (Colton, SD).
