Next, the Lions meet the Pleasant Valley Spartans (Pleasant Valley, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, June 6. Linn-Mar will attempt to upgrade on its 7-0 season record. The Spartans go into the challenge with a 6-0 record after their 10-0 league win over Davenport Central (Davenport, IA).

The Mustangs (0-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Johnston (Johnston, IA). The Dragons go into the non-league challenge with a 4-4 record. In their last challenge, Johnston was routed by Dowling Catholic (West Des Moines, IA), 2-1, in a league challenge.
