Spectators at Tuesday's non-league match between the Morris Knolls Golden Eagles (Rockaway, NJ) and the visiting Cranford Cougars (Cranford, NJ), witnessed Morris Knolls's softball squad tip Cranford by a count of 12-11.
The Golden Eagles now sport a 8-2 record. They play next when they travel to Steinert for a non-league match on Saturday, June 10. Morris Knolls will meet a Spartans squad coming off a 13-4 non-league win over Shawnee (Medford, NJ). The Spartans record now stands at 9-2.
With the loss, Cranford moves to 8-3 on the season.
