The Hickory Hawks softball team scored 12 runs and limited the visiting Granby Comets to 11 in the Hawks non-league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Hickory moves its record to 19-4 on the year. The Hawks travel to Riverside (Leesburg, VA) to clash with the Ram in a non-league game on Friday, June 9. The Ram come into the game with a record of 21-5. Riverside won 9-5 in their recent non-league game against Midlothian (Midlothian, VA)
