The Pleasant Valley Spartans baseball team scored 11 runs and limited the visiting Muscatine Muskies to 1 in the Spartans non-league victory on Thursday.
The Spartans (9-8) will now prepare for their match against Bettendorf (Bettendorf, IA). The Bulldogs go into the non-league match with a 6-9 record.
The Muskies (7-8) will now prepare for their match against Davenport West (Davenport, IA). The Falcons go into the non-league match with a 6-11 record. In their last match, Davenport West was overwhelmed by Ankeny (Ankeny, IA), 16-1, in a non-league match.
