The Grand Haven Buccaneers held off the visiting Portage Central Mustangs soccer squad by a margin of 1-0 in Thursday's non-league match.
The Buccaneers now sport a 11-7 record. They play next when they travel to Hartland for a non-league match on Tuesday, June 11. Grand Haven will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Bloomfield Hills (Bloomfield Hills, MI). The Eagles record now stands at 14-2.
With the loss, Portage Central drops to 15-3 on the season.
