Don Bosco Dons (Gilbertville, IA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Janesville Wildcats (Janesville, IA), 6-0 in a league challenge.

The Dons now own a 11-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Decorah-North Winneshiek for a non-league challenge on Friday, June 7. Don Bosco will battle a Vikings squad coming off a 5-2 non-league loss to Waverly-Shell Rock (Waverly, IA). The Vikings record now stands at 4-4.

With the loss, Janesville falls to 4-7 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Clarksville (Clarksville, IA) to battle the Indians in a Iowa Star - North challenge on Friday, June 7. The Indians enter the challenge with a record of 6-4. Clarksville lost 2-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Collins-Maxwell (Maxwell, IA)
