Logan-Magnolia Panthers (Logan, IA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Riverside Bulldogs (Oakland, IA), 7-6 in a league challenge.

The Panthers now own a 7-2 record. They take the field next when they host Tri-Center for a non-league challenge on Friday, June 7. Logan-Magnolia will face a Trojans squad coming off a 10-0 non-league loss to Audubon (Audubon, IA). The Trojans record now stands at 3-8.

With the loss, Riverside falls to 5-5 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Missouri Valley (Missouri Valley, IA) to face the Big Reds in a non-league challenge on Friday, June 7. The Big Reds enter the challenge with a record of 12-3. Missouri Valley lost 11-7 in their recent non-league challenge against Treynor (Treynor, IA)
