In Friday's non-league game, the host Bondurant-Farrar Bluejays baseball team scored a nice 17-0 win over the Des Moines East Scarlets.
The Bluejays (7-4) will now prepare for their game against A-D-M (Adel, IA). The Tigers go into the Raccoon River game with a 4-8 record. In their last game, A-D-M was overwhelmed by Van Meter (Van Meter, IA), 8-2, in a non-league game.
Next, the Scarlets play the Roosevelt Roughriders (Des Moines, IA) in a Alliance Conference - South game, on Monday, June 9. Des Moines East will attempt to improve on its 1-9 season record. The Roughriders go into the game with a 4-10 record after their 13-6 non-league win over Marshalltown (Marshalltown, IA).
