Iowa High School Baseball - East Buchanan holds off Calamus-Wheatland

In Friday's non-league game, the visiting East Buchanan Buccaneers baseball team scored a close 7-3 win over the Calamus-Wheatland Warriors.
The Buccaneers (7-1) will now prepare for their game against Maquoketa Valley (Delhi, IA). The Wildcats go into the Tri-Rivers - West game with a 5-3 record. In their last game, Maquoketa Valley was overwhelmed by Monticello (Monticello, IA), 5-4, in a non-league game.
Next, the Warriors play the Lisbon Lions (Lisbon, IA) in a Tri-Rivers - East game, on Monday, June 9. Calamus-Wheatland will attempt to improve on its 1-8 season record. The Lions go into the game with a 6-5 record after their 12-0 non-league win over Springville (Springville, IA).
