The Comets (8-3) will now prepare for their game against Centerville (Centerville, IA). The Big Reds/Redettes go into the South Central game with a 5-6 record. In their last game, Centerville nudged Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont (Eddyville, IA), 10-5, in a league game.

Next, the Indians play the Knoxville Panthers (Knoxville, IA) in a South Central game, on Monday, June 9. Clarke will attempt to improve on its 4-9 season record. The Panthers go into the game with a 5-5 record after their 8-7 league win over Albia (Albia, IA).
