The Big Reds/Redettes (5-6) will now prepare for their game against Cardinal (Eldon, IA). The Comets go into the South Central game with a 8-3 record. In their last game, Cardinal nudged Clarke (Osceola, IA), 6-2, in a league game.

Next, the Rockets play the North Mahaska Warhawks (New Sharon, IA) in a non-league match, on Saturday, June 7. Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont will attempt to advance on its 2-9 season record. The Warhawks come into the match with a 4-3 record after their 13-1 league win over Colfax-Mingo (Colfax, IA).
