In Friday's league game, the visiting Twin Cedars Sabers baseball team scored a nice 11-2 win over the Melcher-Dallas Saints.

The Sabers (3-5) will now prepare for their game against Moravia (Moravia, IA). The Mohawks go into the Bluegrass - East game with a 5-3 record. In their last game, Moravia knocked off Moulton-Udell (Moulton, IA), 12-3, in a league game.

Next, the Saints play the Seymour Warriors (Seymour, IA) in a Bluegrass - East game, on Tuesday, June 10. Melcher-Dallas will attempt to improve on its 1-5 season record. The Warriors go into the game with a 2-3 record after their 12-3 non-league win over Mormon Trail (Garden Grove, IA).
