The St. Mary's Hawks baseball team scored 11 runs and held the visiting South O'Brien Wolverines to 1 in the Hawks league win on Friday.

The Hawks now own a 7-1 record. They take the field next when they host Kuemper for a non-league test on Saturday, June 7. St. Mary's will clash with a Knights team coming off a 5-0 league win over St. Albert (Council Bluffs, IA). The Knights record now stands at 6-4.

With the defeat, South O'Brien drops to 0-6 on the year. The Wolverines host West Sioux (Hawarden, IA) to clash with the Falcons in a War Eagle test on Monday, June 9. The Falcons go into the test with a record of 0-3. West Sioux lost 8-6 in their recent non-league test against Western Christian (Hull, IA)
