Spectators at Tuesday's non-league match between the South Burlington Wolves (South Burlington, VT) and the host St. Johnsbury Academy Hilltoppers (St. Johnsbury, VT), witnessed South Burlington's softball squad tip St. Johnsbury Academy by a count of 6-5.
The Wolves now sport a 15-3 record. They play next when they travel to Bellows Free Academy for a non-league match on Sunday, June 12. South Burlington will face a Bullets squad coming off a 14-3 non-league win over Essex (Essex Junction, VT). The Bullets record now stands at 12-7.
With the loss, St. Johnsbury Academy moves to 13-6 on the season.
