Michigan High School Softball - Standish-Sterling falls to Freeland

In Wednesday's league outing, the host Freeland Falcons softball team scored a nice 14-5 win over the Standish-Sterling Panthers.

Coming up next, the Falcons battle the Garber Dukes (Essexville, MI) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, June 10. Freeland will attempt to upgrade on its 11-3 season record. The Dukes enter the outing with a 36-4 record after their 15-0 non-league win over Carrollton (Carrollton, MI).

The Panthers (29-8) will now prepare for their outing against Evart (Evart, MI). The Wildcats enter the non-league outing with a 16-3 record. In their last outing, Evart ran past Unionville-Sebewaing (Sebewaing, MI), 6-5, in a non-league outing.
