New Hampshire High School Softball - Prospect Mountain bounces Hopkinton

Prospect Mountain Timberwolves (Alton, NH) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Hopkinton Hawks (Contoocook, NH), 8-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Timberwolves now sport a 5-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Gilford for a non-league challenge on Saturday, June 10. Prospect Mountain will face a Golden Eagles squad coming off a 5-1 non-league win over St. Thomas Aquinas (Dover, NH). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 6-3.

With the loss, Hopkinton falls to 5-2 on the campaign.
