The Aplington-Parkersburg Falcons baseball team scored 6 runs and limited the host Wapsie Valley Warriors to 2 in the Falcons non-league victory on Friday.
The Falcons (7-3) will now prepare for their match against Dike-New Hartford (Dike, IA). The Wolverines go into the non-league match with a 7-2 record.
The Warriors (15-5) will now prepare for their match against Sumner-Fredericksburg (Sumner, IA). The Cougars go into the North Iowa Cedar - East match with a 11-1 record. In their last match, Sumner-Fredericksburg edged Grundy Center (Grundy Center, IA), 2-1, in a non-league match.
