In Friday's non-league game, the host Humboldt Wildcats baseball team scored a nice 16-1 victory over the St. Edmond Gaels.
The Wildcats (10-2) will now prepare for their game against Iowa Falls-Alden (Iowa Falls, IA). The Cadets go into the non-league game with a 1-8 record. In their last game, Iowa Falls-Alden was overwhelmed by Webster City (Webster City, IA), 20-7, in a non-league game.
