The Twin Cedars Sabers baseball team scored 16 runs and limited the visiting Seymour Warriors to 1 in the Sabers league victory on Friday.

The Sabers (6-4) will now prepare for their match against Melcher-Dallas (Melcher, IA). The Saints go into the Bluegrass - East match with a 1-5 record. In their last match, Melcher-Dallas was overwhelmed by Moulton-Udell (Moulton, IA), 6-3, in a non-league match.

The Warriors (0-4) will now prepare for their match against Twin Cedars (Bussey, IA). The Sabers go into the Bluegrass - East match with a 7-4 record. In their last match, Twin Cedars ran past Melcher-Dallas (Melcher, IA), 25-1, in a league match.
