The crowd at Friday's non-league match between the Prairie City-Monroe Mustangs (Monroe, IA) and the host Greene County Rams (Jefferson, IA), saw Prairie City-Monroe's softball squad achieve victory over Greene County by a count of 14-1.

The Mustangs now sport a 9-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to West Marshall for a non-league match on Monday, June 10. Prairie City-Monroe will face a Trojans squad coming off a 8-4 non-league win over Webster City (Webster City, IA). The Trojans record now stands at 11-2.

With the loss, Greene County falls to 3-10 on the campaign. The Rams host South Hamilton (Jewell, IA) to face the Hawks in a non-league match on Monday, June 10. The Hawks enter the match with a record of 7-8. South Hamilton lost 8-0 in their recent non-league match against Sumner-Fredericksburg (Sumner, IA)
