Saline Hornets (Saline, MI) supporters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Bedford Kicking Mules (Temperance, MI), 9-3 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Saline improves its record to 23-3 on the year. The Hornets travel to Woodhaven (Brownstown, MI) to play the Warriors in a non-league game on Tuesday, June 10. The Warriors enter the game with a record of 32-5. Woodhaven won 6-4 in their recent non-league game against Allen Park (Allen Park, MI)

The Kicking Mules now hold a 15-5 record.
