The Chugiak Mustangs softball squad (Chugiak, AK), was edged 10-9 in Saturday's non-league contest with the host South Anchorage Wolverines (Anchorage, AK)

With the triumph, South Anchorage improves its record to 16-8 on the year. The Wolverines travel to Colony (Palmer, AK) to face the Knights in a non-league contest on Saturday, June 7. The Knights enter the contest with a record of 33-8. Colony won 4-2 in their recent non-league contest against Chugiak (Chugiak, AK)

The Mustangs now hold a 25-7 record. They play next when they travel to Dimond for a non-league contest on Saturday, June 7. Chugiak will face a Lynx squad coming off a 12-3 non-league loss to Chugiak (Chugiak, AK). The Lynx record now stands at 13-13.
