The Kee Kee Hawks softball team scored 9 runs and held the host Edgewood-Colesburg Vikings to 2 in the Kee Hawks non-league win on Saturday.

The Kee Hawks now sport a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Postville for a Upper Iowa battle on Monday, June 9. Kee will confront a Pirates team coming off a 15-0 league loss to Turkey Valley (Jackson Junction, IA). The Pirates record now stands at 0-3.

With the loss, Edgewood-Colesburg moves to 10-2 on the season. The Vikings travel to Marquette (Bellevue, IA) to confront the Defenders in a non-league battle on Monday, June 9. The Defenders come into the battle with a record of 4-4. Marquette won 8-3 in their recent non-league battle against Clinton (Clinton, IA)
