With the triumph, North Butler upgrades its record to 4-5 on the year. The Bearcats travel to Nashua-Plainfield (Nashua, IA) to play the Huskies in a Top of Iowa-East game on Monday, June 9. The Huskies enter the game with a record of 0-7. Nashua-Plainfield lost 4-3 in their recent non-league game against Hudson (Hudson, IA)

The Wildcats now own a 8-2 record. They play next when they travel to BCLUW for a non-league game on Monday, June 9. Riceville will play a Comets squad coming off a 6-4 non-league win over Don Bosco (Gilbertville, IA). The Comets record now stands at 6-1.
