The Northwest Wolves softball team scored 13 runs and held the host Winterset Huskies to 3 in the Wolves non-league win on Saturday.

The Wolves now possess a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ankeny for a CIML battle on Monday, June 9. Northwest will confront a Hawks team coming off a 3-2 league loss to Southeast Polk (Pleasant Hill, IA). The Hawks record now stands at 3-5.

With the loss, Winterset moves to 5-5 on the season. The Huskies travel to Gilbert (Gilbert, IA) to confront the Tigers in a Raccoon River battle on Monday, June 9. The Tigers come into the battle with a record of 5-4. Gilbert lost 7-0 in their recent non-league battle against Albia (Albia, IA)
