The West Lyon Wildcats (Inwood, IA) softball routed the host Sergeant Bluff-Luton Warriors (Sergeant Bluff, IA), 11-3 in Saturday's non-league outing.
The Wildcats now sport a 11-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sheldon for a Siouxland outing on Monday, June 9. West Lyon will encounter a Orabs team coming off a 12-11 non-league win over Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn (Hartley, IA). The Orabs record now stands at 3-4.
With the loss, Sergeant Bluff-Luton moves to 8-3 on the season. The Warriors travel to Sioux City West (Sioux City, IA) to play the Wolverines in a Missouri River challenge on Monday, June 9. The Wolverines enter the challenge with a record of 0-2.
