In Thursday's league game, the host Yellow Medicine East Sting baseball team scored a tight 3-2 victory over the Russell-Tyler-Ruthton Knights.
The Sting (17-3) will now prepare for their game against New Ulm Cathedral (New Ulm, MN). The Greyhounds go into the non-league game with a 19-5 record. In their last game, New Ulm Cathedral tipped Sleepy Eye (Sleepy Eye, MN), 9-4, in a non-league game.
