Hancock Bulldogs (Hancock, MI) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Ishpeming Hematites (Ishpeming, MI), 9-6 in a non-league challenge.
The Bulldogs now own a 16-3 record.
With the loss, Ishpeming falls to 16-13 on the campaign.
