Mormon Trail Saints (Garden Grove, IA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Moulton-Udell Eagles (Moulton, IA), 13-9 in a non-league challenge.

The Saints now own a 2-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Melcher-Dallas for a non-league challenge on Thursday, June 13.

With the loss, Moulton-Udell falls to 0-7 on the campaign. The Eagles host Seymour (Seymour, IA) to face the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Saturday, June 8. The Warriors enter the challenge with a record of 3-4.
