Connecticut High School Baseball - Avon held off by Cheshire

Cheshire Rams (Cheshire, CT) fans left the game pleased Sunday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Avon Falcons (Avon, CT), 3-1 in a non-league contest.

With the triumph, Cheshire moves its record to 18-7 on the season. The Rams travel to Lyman Hall (Wallingford, CT) to confront the Trojans in a non-league contest on Tuesday, June 10. The Trojans come into the contest with a record of 29-3. Lyman Hall won 5-4 in their recent non-league contest against New London (New London, CT)

The Falcons now possess a 18-7 record.
