In Sunday's non-league game, the visiting St. Joseph Cadets baseball team scored a close 5-3 triumph over the Ellington Knights.
With the triumph, St. Joseph moves its record to 19-9 on the season. The Cadets travel to Killingly (Killingly, CT) to confront the Redmen in a non-league contest on Wednesday, June 11. The Redmen come into the contest with a record of 15-5.
The Knights now possess a 19-10 record.
