The New Hampton Chickasaws got by the host Waukon Indians baseball team by a count of 3-2 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Chickasaws now possess a 9-4 record. They take the field next when they host Central Springs for a non-league bout on Thursday, June 15. New Hampton will face a Panthers team coming off a 13-1 non-league loss to Osage (Osage, IA). The Panthers record now stands at 3-11.

Next, the Indians face the Crestwood Cadets (Cresco, IA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, June 12. Waukon will attempt to move on its 4-6 season record. The Cadets enter the bout with a 2-7 record after their 12-8 non-league loss to Charles City (Charles City, IA).
