In Monday's league test, the Eagle Grove Eagles (Eagle Grove, IA) softball squad overwhelmed the host Garner-Hayfield/Ventura Cardinals (Garner, IA), by a tally of 11-3.

Next, the Eagles meet the North Union Warriors (Armstrong, IA) in a Top of Iowa-West test, on Wednesday, June 11. Eagle Grove will attempt to advance on its 4-1 season record. The Warriors go into the test with a 8-1 record after their 16-3 league win over West Hancock (Britt, IA).

The Cardinals (3-3) will now prepare for their test against Northwood-Kensett (Northwood, IA). The Vikings go into the non-league test with a 1-4 record. In their last test, Northwood-Kensett was routed by Central Springs (Manly, IA), 23-3, in a league test.
