Hodgdon Hawks (Hodgdon, ME) supporters left the game pleased Monday as they saw their softball squad nudge the visiting Stearns Minutemen (Millinocket, ME), 21-17 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Hodgdon improves its record to 6-8 on the year. The Hawks travel to Katahdin (Sherman Station, ME) to play the Cougars in a non-league game on Thursday, June 12. The Cougars enter the game with a record of 14-0. Katahdin won 20-0 in their recent league game against Fort Fairfield (Fort Fairfield, ME)

The Minutemen now hold a 11-6 record.
