The Kuemper Knights (Carroll, IA) softball routed the host Red Oak Tigers (Red Oak, IA), 24-3 in Monday's league outing.
The Knights now sport a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Red Oak for a Hawkeye 10 challenge on Monday, June 9. Kuemper will meet a Tigers squad coming off a 13-0 league loss to Clarinda (Clarinda, IA). The Tigers record now stands at 2-6.
The Tigers (2-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Kuemper (Carroll, IA). The Knights enter the Hawkeye 10 challenge with a 5-5 record. In their last challenge, Kuemper overcame St. Albert (Council Bluffs, IA), 5-2, in a league challenge.
