The West Monona Spartans (Onawa, IA) softball routed the visiting Ridge View Raptors (Holstein, IA), 10-0 in Monday's league outing.

The Spartans now sport a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Kingsley-Pierson for a Western Valley outing on Wednesday, June 11. West Monona will encounter a Panthers team coming off a 7-6 non-league win over Marcus-Meriden-Cleghorn/Remsen-Union (Marcus, IA). The Panthers record now stands at 7-3.

With the loss, Ridge View moves to 3-4 on the season. The Raptors travel to South O'Brien (Paullina, IA) to encounter the Wolverines in a non-league outing on Tuesday, June 10. The Wolverines come into the outing with a record of 3-5. South O'Brien lost 8-4 in their recent league outing against West Sioux (Hawarden, IA)
