The Southeast Polk Rams edged the visiting Valley Tigers softball squad by a count of 8-7 in Monday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Rams meet the Johnston Dragons (Johnston, IA) in a CIML challenge, on Wednesday, June 11. Southeast Polk will attempt to upgrade on its 6-6 season record. The Dragons enter the challenge with a 10-4 record after their 4-1 league win over Urbandale (Urbandale, IA).
The Tigers (9-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Waukee (Waukee, IA). The Warriors enter the non-league challenge with a 7-5 record. In their last challenge, Waukee was nudged by Ames (Ames, IA), 6-4, in a non-league challenge.
