The Warriors (8-3) will now prepare for their match against Valley (West Des Moines, IA). The Tigers go into the non-league match with a 10-3 record. In their last match, Valley tipped Southeast Polk (Pleasant Hill, IA), 6-0, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Little Cyclones battle the Roosevelt Riders (Des Moines, IA) in a non-league match, on Monday, June 15. Ames will attempt to better on its 8-6 season record. The Riders go into the match with a 11-5 record after their 10-4 non-league loss to Fort Dodge (Fort Dodge, IA).
