In Monday's non-league test, the Urbandale J-Hawks (Urbandale, IA) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Ames Little Cyclones (Ames, IA), by a tally of 7-2.

Next, the J-Hawks meet the Norwalk Warriors (Norwalk, IA) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, July 2. Urbandale will attempt to advance on its 21-16 season record. The Warriors go into the test with a 26-5 record after their 4-1 non-league win over Ankeny Centennial (Ankeny, IA).

The Little Cyclones (22-15) will now prepare for their test against Indianola (Indianola, IA). The Indians go into the non-league test with a 19-16 record. In their last test, Indianola held off Ottumwa (Ottumwa, IA), 9-5, in a non-league test.
