In Monday's league match, the visiting South Winneshiek Warriors softball team scored a nice 14-0 win over the Clayton-Ridge Eagles.

The Warriors (18-11) will now prepare for their match against St. Ansgar (St. Ansgar, IA). The Saints come into the non-league match with a 21-7 record.

In their next game, the Eagles battle the Starmont Stars (Arlington, IA) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, July 2. Clayton-Ridge will attempt to better on its 4-7 season record. The Stars come into the match with a 2-21 record after their 12-1 non-league loss to Midland (Wyoming, IA).
