The West Burlington Falcons softball team scored 10 runs and held the visiting Holy Trinity Catholic Crusaders to 0 in the Falcons non-league win on Monday.

The Falcons now possess a 22-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fort Madison for a non-league battle on Tuesday, July 2. West Burlington will confront a Bloodhounds team coming off a 7-3 league win over Keokuk (Keokuk, IA). The Bloodhounds record now stands at 12-14.

With the loss, Holy Trinity Catholic moves to 6-12 on the season. The Crusaders travel to Mt. Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, IA) to confront the Panthers in a non-league battle on Tuesday, July 2. The Panthers come into the battle with a record of 2-22. Mt. Pleasant lost 11-4 in their recent non-league battle against Iowa City West (Iowa City, IA)
