The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Louisa-Muscatine Falcons (Letts, IA) and the visiting Washington Demons (Washington, IA), observed Louisa-Muscatine's softball team get by Washington by a tally of 7-2.

The Falcons (27-4) will now prepare for their bout against Fort Madison (Fort Madison, IA). The Bloodhounds go into the non-league bout with a 12-15 record. In their last bout, Fort Madison was routed by West Burlington (West Burlington, IA), 6-1, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Demons battle the Clear Creek-Amana Clippers (Tiffin, IA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, July 3. Washington will attempt to advance on its 23-8 season record. The Clippers go into the bout with a 23-11 record after their 5-2 non-league loss to Iowa City (Iowa City, IA).
