The West Hancock Eagles baseball team scored 12 runs and held the visiting Belmond-Klemme Broncos to 2 in the Eagles league win on Tuesday.

The Eagles now hold a 8-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bishop Garrigan for a Top of Iowa - West test on Wednesday, July 2. West Hancock will play a Golden Bears team coming off a 7-5 league loss to Forest City (Forest City, IA). The Golden Bears record now stands at 13-6.

With the defeat, Belmond-Klemme drops to 3-17 on the year. The Broncos host North Butler (Greene, IA) to play the Bearcats in a non-league test on Thursday, July 3. The Bearcats go into the test with a record of 5-10.
