The Decorah-North Winneshiek Vikings baseball team scored 12 runs and held the host Charles City Comets to 1 in the Vikings league win on Tuesday.
The Vikings now hold a 20-5 record. They take the field next when they host Waverly-Shell Rock for a Northeast Iowa test on Wednesday, July 2.
With the defeat, Charles City drops to 1-22 on the year. The Comets travel to Nashua-Plainfield (Nashua, IA) to play the Huskies in a non-league test on Wednesday, July 2.
