The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawks baseball team scored 10 runs and held the visiting Regina Regals to 5 in the Golden Hawks non-league win on Tuesday.
The Golden Hawks now own a 15-12 record. They take the field next when they travel to Washington for a non-league test on Wednesday, July 2. Mid-Prairie will clash with a Demons team coming off a 10-5 league loss to Fort Madison (Fort Madison, IA). The Demons record now stands at 4-15.
With the defeat, Regina drops to 22-4 on the year. The Regals host West Liberty (West Liberty, IA) to clash with the Comets in a River Valley - South test on Wednesday, July 2. The Comets go into the test with a record of 14-11. West Liberty lost 2-1 in their recent non-league test against Durant (Durant, IA)
